Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, met Shigeo Katsu, the World Bank's Vice President for Europe and Central Asia.

During the meeting the Parties discussed the situation at the world financial markets, and expressed their opinions concerning financial and economic conditions of Ukraine.

The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine emphasized the importance of holding comprehensive transparent economic and social reforms.
